Is food included?

Heck yes. We provide snacks on each of our tours– enough to take the edge off but not too much to inhibit more imbibing. If that doesn’t squelch your hanger, feel free to place your own order for food to go if time allows. Our private tours have the option to upgrade to a full meal. Let us know if you’re interested!
Are you vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten-free*? We got you covered. Please list any allergies or dietary restrictions when booking.

*We do not provide GF beer/drink options on our tours.

Is beer included?

You know it! We provide plenty of beer on each and every one of our tours. Trust us– you won’t be thirsting for more.

Can I drink on the bus?

We wouldn’t be the best brewery tour company in the world if you couldn’t! So yes, but please respect the driver and the bus rules. Your fellow tour pals would also love for you to share. Not only can you drink on the bus, but we encourage you to purchase beer at our partner breweries along the way. Please, no liquor (hard alcohol) consumption on the bus. This bus runs on beer only!

Special Needs

Are kids allowed on the tours?

Kids are allowed on our private walking tours only. 21 and over for all bus and public tours.

Can you accommodate guests with disabilities?

Everyone (over 21 years old) is welcome on a BREWVANA tour! We do require notification of any disabilities and special requests when booking, we have one bus that is handicap accessible. Please call us to accommodate.

Reservations

How do I make a reservation? Do I have to book in advance?

Yes, you must book in advance. Online registration for public tours closes 3 hours prior to tour time but give us a ring if you’d like to book. Private tours require more time - a minimum of 1 week prior to your respective tour date but the more time we have, the better. A 25% deposit is required to reserve your date and the remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to tour time. Email tours@brewvana.com for more info.

Is my information protected?

Our privacy policy states that we will only use your personal information (contact info, name, credit card info) for booking the tour and reasons related to tour operations. We do not store credit card info or share any personal information with other parties.

What do you recommend for groups?

You are welcome to book seats on our public tours and join other imbibers (please play nice with your newly acquired beer friends) or you can select “Book The Whole Bus” and no matter how many people you have you can have the whole bus to yourself (up to 14 max). Our public tours are confirmed in advance with times and locations - you don’t get to modify the tour even if you book the whole bus. Groups of 7+ can book a private tour - completely customized itinerary from pint A to pint B. You will have the whole bus to yourself, our undivided attention and an itinerary crafted to make your beer tour dreams come true. Contact tours@brewvana.com for more info.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?

We’d be super sad that you can’t join us, but if you give us a minimum 72 hour advance notice we will refund your money in full, minus a 15% processing fee OR happily transfer your booking to another tour free of charge (no transfers when booking the whole bus). No refunds or transfers for tours cancelled within 72 hours of tour time- no acceptions.

Transport

Do you pick me up?

Our public tours include pick up/drop off service at the SE Portland Growler Guys located at 816 SE 8th Ave (between SE Belmont & SE Morrison) promptly at pick up time. Don’t be the late party pooper- if you miss the bus you’ll have to arrange transportation to the 1st location.

Where can I park?

Ride like the Portlanders do and use public transportation to get to the pick up location– plus it’s a great way to avoid driving after your tour. Use Trimet.org to plan your trip! If you do drive, parking is available underneath the building complex on 9th between SE Belmont & Morrison. Please do not park in the parking lot in front of Growler Guys, however surrounding street parking works too.

We also offer a custom pick up/drop off option for $30 additional for locations within 3 miles of Pioneer Square. Select as an “extra” during booking and be ready 1 hour prior to tour time.
