Founded in 2001, the original Laurelwood Public House & Brewery ran out of a now defunct pub location with a small 7-barrel brewery located in Portland’s Hollywood district. Today, they’ve opened several locations that allow visitors to eat, drink, and be merry, to national and wide acclaim, winning local and national awards. Now, the majority of Laurelwood’s beer is brewed at their brewpub at the intersection of 51st and Sandy, especially their ever-changing seasonal selection. As of 2015, Laurelwood distributes to the east coast as well as some regions of Japan!
- Pacific Northwest is Best Tuesday — Sunday at 12:30PM
- IPA - American
Workhorse-Our biggest seller in the pubs, this is an extremely well balanced yet super flavorful IPA brewed in the West Coast style. The over-the-top aroma comes from a heavy handed dose of hops in the kettle, hop back and 2 separate dry-hop additions. A slightly sweet finish helps balance the hop bitterness and creates an ale that is both big on flavor yet remains quite drinkable.
- Red Ale - American Amber / Red
One of our flagship beers! This rich copper-colored Northwest style red is medium in body. Its caramel sweetness blends with smooth hop flavors to create a balanced and drinkable beer.
- Lager - American
The Wood Lager is our take on a domestic lager with just a little more hops than your grandfather might like. At 4.6% abv this light lager is as easy on the eyes as it is going down! The use of Pilsner and 6 row malts give this beer a nice malt sweetness but is balanced out by the citrus and tropical hop aromas and flavor.
